why do the ranged orc's arrows curve?

developer response: You mean follow the player? That's by design, you can't dodge a projectile by moving.

I really hope the characters stop being reset for future updates.

developer response: Desktop version doesn't reset. There is an open steam playtest if you don't want to download from itch

Yeah the balance isn't quite there yet. My mage is now built with essentially just regen and attack speed. Auto-walking (both upgrades) is off because it's much easier to just find a spot with two enemies to alternate between.

And the only boss right now seems too powerful for the equipment that drops in his zone. I wasn't sure whether I was supposed to or , so what I did was .

The respec cost feels a bit high for me to start trying a different build, maybe you should give some free ones. Same applies to the shop refresh cost which doesn't have a clear benefit, these are just buttons which I won't press while I'm still saving gold towards automation.

In the end my gameplay is still more active than idle, which does prove the point that you could just skip the whole "buying bots" part and the game would still work.

developer response: Regen + attack speed is a valid build.
The boss is supposed to be killed before cultists, it just requires some kiting and potions.
There's nothing wrong in playing the game full active.

Thanks for playing and for feedback :)

the game ain't realistic enough, it doesn't have p2w

developer response: Nice idea, I could use some money :)

Can't tell if inventory is opened with 1 or l, either way it does not open for me. I also clicked out of an info textbox too fast and had to restart- maybe you should put encountered info in the menu or have a keybind setting.

developer response: Inventory opens with i, it works fine.

Neat little prototype of a game. The basic active combat is engaging and responsive enough. I felt that the base movement speed felt a little sluggish, though you do quickly become faster. While I think the foundation is good, I think a more complete build could consider more varied elements of gameplay befitting a MMORPG. This could be side skills/minigames that can buff your stats which you can bot. Having a plethora of classes sounds interesting though you'd have to incentivize changing classes by either letting them provide global buffs or making a prestige system. A common complain you might get is that there's no obvious way to buy max potions. I think having a bot upgrade to do so would be valuable, as would an upgrade to auto sell inventory when in town.

Base health and mana regen are pretty strong early. Investing a few points into them allows you to tank and have quick kills on the early zones. Once you're rich enough to perma chug pots, then max health and regen become more preferable. The boss orc was a nice experience and it'd be interesting to see what crazy patterns future bosses might have. On the note of balance though, I couldn't find much use out of enrage with its high mana cost. I often killed enemies too quickly for the attack speed to matter and it was better to kite for ability cooldowns when facing tougher foes. I could see it being a cheap way to idle without using pots, though it still seems a bit weak to me.

I think it should be made a little bit more clear you'll unlock new zones at level 10 and level 20 (there is none at lvl 30). You'll have to do a little more grinding on bats and orcs to reach them and players may think the game is done after seeing nothing to do. On that note, I think the town underground entrance shouldn't be highlighted on hover until level 20 is reached. As of now, it looks like an odd object that could be clickable.

developer response: Hello, thanks for feedback and for playing! (sounds like you 100% it, love to see it :))
Seems like you had very similar ideas to me :D. Mining + forging is coming - you will gather ores and use them to enhance gear - maybe classic "Iron Sword +1/2/3" or increase their rarity, idk yet.

The plan is to have 3 base classes - Warrior / Mage / Hunter that will ascend into next classes as prestige mechanism. The grand idea is that eventually you will run multiple instances of the game with various characters to essentially create a bot farm, but not sure if that will work out.

You might be right with the unlocking of new zones, need to think about how to make it more obvious that those will unlock after x level. Maybe highlight them with blue and do a popup after click it that it will unlock.

Ok, apparently you have to get to Level 11 of all things to get past the gate at the top. Would be really nice to have a guard or something who will tell you that. I finished the bats at level 8 I think.

developer response: And the Guards are now in the game :)

I enjoyed the game. I do think that the drop rate is a bit all over the place. Early on, drops were constant. But later enemies did not drop as much. It may be because I was killing the early enemies faster though. I am impressed. Ironically, I would play an mmorpg in this style even without botting besides the auto potions and auto pick up. I would say maybe you could do something like have a bot upgrade to teleport you back and sell items of a specific quality. That would make the pathing upgrade feel better to me, as I have to retake control when I fill my inventory. I will also suggest that maybe have it so you could set the pathing so there are waypoints that are more preferred depending on inventory fullness or health. I did really enjoy the game.
