description

FORM∆: Mutation is a minimalist incremental game where every click brings shapes to life.

Click to generate points, watch geometric forms slowly assemble into glowing point clouds, then evolve them to unlock permanent mutations. Each shape has its own identity, progression, and strategic choices, creating an infinite experience without predefined levels.

Designed to be both visually satisfying and endlessly engaging.

though we should be able to still click to speed up the process when we get new slots

crashed my entire browser (opera gx, it froze, then closed and reopened automatically) somehow when I tried holding slightly too early to finish the shape on the heart, usually it hasn't been an issue but I'm guessing I accidentally hit a frame perfect bug? No clue if it's specific to the heart because it only happened once, but maybe that helps

The game begins to lag and the images stop changing and sometimes showing altogether.

Is it just me or is auto clicker much faster than the upgrade says? I got the first level, which says 3 points per second, but it’s more like 15 to 20 per second

developer response: Yes, will be fixed soon

I really like the spiral functions you used for the point clouds. Reminds me a bit of old-school demoscene effects. The game itself needs tuning though, it lags and crashes a lot, and the upgrades feel meaningless... 1% every 10 levels is too little. It should be a bigger boost and ideally multiplied or exponentiated with some incremental stat, like # of shape completions, # of upgrades, time spent etc. Something that can really scale to crazy heights.

played the game through the link to the original site. After playing for about 30 minutes, I tried to close the game, which resulted in my whole browser locking up while the game continued running

Very fun game. My only problem is it hogs memory and causes a ton of lag
