As a game jam game, the previous version was well done. As a commercial game, this current version has quite a lot to go.
The biggest problem is just that the overall gameplay doesn't really change from minute 1 to minute 30. Sure, your different rocks do different things, and the slots get an interesting upgrade each, but the gameplay is essentially "click on the squares" from start to finish. The skill tree content is fine, but requiring a finite resource and not showing that there are upgrades 'behind' other upgrades makes it very hard to plan ahead. I didn't buy health regen until right near the end, which then showed a max health upgrade I would've bought ages ago. The infinite enemies for earlier waves is alright, but I would prefer to see the enemy stats increase over time with the rewards scaling similarly. The bosses are no different to regular enemies (except for having more health) and there are no other enemy types or other resources you have to manage (after taking out all of the trees, anyway. The bouncing shot can get the ones outside your range).
I don't think many people are going to be interested in buying a "full" version of this, as it stands. Look at good nodebuster demos and compare how different the game feels from start to finish. Now look at your own game critically and ask "does mine feel different like that?" Hopefully you'll see my point.

Hiya, I have a bug and a softlock condition,

Bug: player tabs back to the pause menu and navigates to the upgrade menu. Going back to the game results in not being able to manually fire. There doesn't seem to be a way back other than reloading the game.

Softlock condition: it's possible for the player to upgrade the wood-requiring upgrades to the point where they're unable to increase their attack radius, no trees are in range, and whatever is in the upgrade tree after this point is unreachable. The game appears to be unfinishable, too, owing to decreased range. Having a stand of trees appear in range would resolve this, and it strange that wood is a bottleneck resource when the red squares are seemingly infinite.

I love how far you've taken this idea since the jam in winter. We've a new one starting in a couple of weeks. Are you busy? :D

When you're gunned up but you switch to a lower level, the boss never shows up so you're stuck in an incredibly long round with no way out, because your towers easily kill all enemies. There's no exit button, you have to wait for lucky hits by the enemy.
Also, coins should be yellow not red.

developer response: When playing lower levels again they work as infinite so you can grind currency if you want. The boss not showing up again is intended. Pressing ESC or TAB opens a pause menu where you can go back to the upgrade tree.

Fun game that does the no text gimmick very well, but by the end I found myself wishing that I could just hold down to fire continuously, instead of having to click over and over.
Also, I'm all for flashy effects and whatnot, but the splash radius gets way too big in the end-game. I couldn't even see what was happening most of the time.

developer response: Thanks for playing!
We had that in mind as well but sadly ran out of time to implement it. Might be coming in the future.
The upgrades definitely need some adjustments :D.

Got locked out after the 3rd wave. For some reason no enemies are showing up anymore and I can't restart or anything, so some bug stopped me from playing.

For a gamejam game with the limitation of No Text, I think it's pretty good. Took me a tick to figure out what was happening and how to do it, and I think if you were going to run with the idea that it would need some balancing work, but I do like it quite a bit for a short fun little distraction.
