I like this game, which is unfortunate because the balancing is really really frustrating, feels like most of the upgrades do very little and still require a whole run, the game would be more fun if the chain stuff like lightning was in any way scaled to the actual ball damage, the only thing that seemed to actually help was one shotting the pegs and spamming ball revives and it felt like a lot of it was a waste of money, I gave up after level 3 when I realised there was a prestige and it wasn't gonna get much better, I think a lot of the problems are very easily fixable with just scaling damage better, maybe it's just a me issue but the levels are really awkward to get to too and when u get past the 1st level you actually start moving but getting there takes an annoying amount of time, I do like the idea of this it just needs a big re-balance

A fun game, but I don't feel motivated to continue past the first couple prestiges because prestiging feels like it hurts you more than it helps. Scaling costs with prestige defeats the entire purpose of prestige.

There’s a luck-based glitch that makes it so whenever you max an upgrade, the maxed upgrade is put below another upgrade which is a copy but you can upgrade it past max. It also becomes free. I’m not asking the dev to fix it, as it’s not gonna happen that much and actually helps more than anything based on the upgrade, so I’m reaching out to people who didnt get far yet, just make profit off of this and get as much rebirth points you can get.

And dev, I’m sorry I don’t know how it happens, so I can’t help you in fixing this, but my guess is the game is pretty glitchy for now, so it’s probably just a tiny coding error in how upgrades scale. Hope that helps both you and the players!

The balance is terrible, I should be able to buy the first upgrade after the first game, but the first upgrade costs $4 and I only get $2 from the first game. Also, going up a level does nothing, except giving more health to the pegs... That too is terrible, there's zero incentive to go up levels if you don't already have the upgrade giving you more $/level, and even then, it's just not worth it.

Just another rushed nodebuster-like.

developer response: Yeah I agree with the first part, I had to change somethings with the engine to support single thread web versions for this website. so it effected the ball behaviour, the other version its possible to get $4 from the first upgrade.

I disagree with your second comment, there's other reasons besides the ball health but maybe you didn't get that far to realise.

Every prestige feels like three steps forward and two back. On one hand, you get prestige upgrades and a small multiplier boost, and on the other the goal needed to prestige almost doubles. It doesn't really feel like level matters at all, besides obviously letting you prestige and getting more prestige points. Because it feels like every level takes the same amount of time every prestige, it feels like the prestige doesn't actually progress you more than it sets you back.

Were the time upgrades supposed to be so low? +0.15 seconds doesn't even give you an extra ball. -0.1 seconds per shot also seems to not give much benefit either.

The launcher gets hard stuck missing pegs on the far left or far right, which by itself inst necessarily a problem but it seems to happen often enough to be noticeable. Could add some orbiting powerup on the ball or some kind of dps aura if the aiming math is a pain.

imo great game, and exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for when thinking of an incremental and pachinko, and lots of room to explore ideas.

The target calculation is bugged:
1. I can go to level 1 and back to highest, and the target is still level 1's value.
2. The target on next level depends on how much I get on the last run rather than level, which make the game much harder to progress.
