how do i get the buttons to vibrate violently
Hi, real nice concept !
Here's a few things a found :
- every button has a chance to break and start vibrating violently
- if you have too many upgrades, the game starts to break while in simulation, sometimes no even showing it and instead staying in the tech tree with the simulation in the background
- the only way to make the apple tree work is by breaking the game with too many upgrades, x8 speed and making the game lag so much that you'll generate too much food
- the tree REALLY needs a way to buy upgrades faster because when you get 70k points in a run and upgrades cost 500... you'll take 5 minutes between each sim just buying upgrades
- leaderboard is a scam :) i got to sim 43 (which would be top 1 at this time) and i don't appear in it even after prestige
super cool game concept!
a little bit of stuff i noticed that may help if you plan to dev further:
the 'x' button to exit the settings menu that pops up when you click the wrench has a little bit of an offset hitbox-- when your mouse is on the side of it, it won't register that you're hovering over it.
another thing about gui buttons: because of the random tilt thing you implemented that applies when the buttons are hovered over, the hitbox of the buttons actually goes with the button as it tilts-- so if you just barely move your mouse into the edge of any button it'll have a high likelihood of spamming new random tilt resets.
none of this is very important just documenting in case you wanted this info for dev reasons
although the game has pretty bad optimization, it's still pretty good and i dont understand why ppl say it lags their computer. i have a good computer and it doesn't lag anything except the game itself. still runs perfectly after a simulation is done. the scaling in this game does need work, but it's a really good idea! keep going, and make it more than a demo
this is so unbalanced. the love strat is so op that it lags my pc

It's a good idea, but so far the balancing of it all could be better. From what i've seen, each upgrade only costs 1 more point than the last, so it just spirals out of control. I'll have to play it more though to see if it gets better eventually.
Needs a buy all upgrades button. Other than that me likey
reproduction meta OP (do not change this)
It's not saving progress, even after a prestige. I leave it for a day, or a few hours, then come back and my progress is wiped. Kinda not wanting to start over every time.
The progress didn't save
