Demo Update v0.8: Prestige 1 Bomb Reward & UI Improvements 0.8 May 27, 2026
Prestige 1 felt a bit slow in the early stages, so I have added a new type of reward when prestiging.
The Sulphur Bomb
This bomb explodes four times in the same position, dealing massive damage over time. It is perfect for destroying thicker ores as soon as you descend into the Prestige 1 mine.
Aside from that, I have improved the game's UI and overall clarity by adding a few new panels and features:
Bomb Info Panel
There is now a "Bomb Info" button in the base camp. It opens a simple panel showing your bombs' data. I will add full descriptions in a future update once translations are ready.
Reworked Ores Info
The "Ores Info" panel has been completely reworked. It now displays the precise HP and value of each ore after accounting for your skill tree and prestige calculations. This took a bit longer than expected to implement >>
Skill Tree Navigation
You can now navigate the skill tree by panning (click & hold). You can also quickly close the menu by pressing ESC on your keyboard or clicking the right mouse button.
Shrapnel Ore Visuals
Shrapnel Ore projectiles now have a visible explosion effect. Previously, it was hard to tell what the projectiles were doing besides destroying everything. A new cyan/light-blue explosion now clearly highlights the impact.
As always, let me know if you are enjoying the demo and share your thoughts!

Like sometimes one bomb will destroy 3 brown blocks, but then the very next throw breaks a gray and a brown while 2 browns seemingly take no damage.
Is there a varying amount of health the blocks have, or is there a cap to how much damage each bomb can do to all the blocks in its range?
Or is there something with it looking like the blocks are in range but aren't getting hit?
It's hard to tell, but either way taking 2 bombs to destroy a brown block sometimes but other times only 1 is kinda frustrating without understanding why.
Otherwise I've enjoyed the game so far. I'm a sucker for these "destroy block, get resource, upgrade, do more again" type games. haha
My main gripe with this game is that it doesn't tell you the stats of anything expect for your bomb damage and amount, both of which you can already see.
Not knowing how much hp things have and having to rely on how shaky they are is quite detrimental to the experience.
A simple stats page or telling you the stats before and after getting an upgrade would fix this game's main issue.
Also, the continue anyway button has literally no reason to exist.
developer response: You're completely correct. I didn't think about that because, as the developer, I know more or less the values but it should be visible for everyone. I'll be adding some interface to show at least the player's bomb stats and ores' HP. Thanks for the feedback (and for enjoying the game!)
developer response: That's weird, does it happen after unlocking something in the skill tree? Does it keep happening even resetting the save data (from the main menu, the button below "start game"?
developer response: Ahah thank you!
Maybe you can add a better reward to prestige. Starting again with zero upgrades was a pain.
But was a nice game.
developer response: Thanks! Yea I need to improve the movement in that menu, it feels a bit too clunky at times. Regarding the prestiges, I'll make sure to make them more rewarding, at least the early progression after resetting.

And to give a 2nd opinion to what sharpnova said, I never accidentally clicked the 'continue anyway' button and did not think it was a prank or anything along those lines. It could be a good idea to add a confirmation after the button though, just to prevent that type of thing from accidentally happening.
developer response: Thanks! I can certainly add something more to the prestige. And regarding the "continue anyway" button I'll work on that too.
