Great game. However, I experienced a LOT of lag as I went farther into the game. This is amazing for a first game and although I would like to see either an expansion of this, I have your responses and see you do not wish to continue further. I really liked the game (and never saw the battle button so I left for a while and came back for some reason, only then seeing it). The game could use a little bit of polish, at the very least an ending screen or some notifications when you unlock something. Overall, it was fun.

i appreciate the transparency with the ai writing. the game is cool! i hope you expand more on it! you have a neat idea and a good foundation for something greater.
just learned how this was made. for someone with very little experience, you managed to make something better than i did in my comsci classes in high school, kudos to you!

Unfortunately however, I think I'm done with this one. It was mostly just a learning experience. I do plan on making more small learning games in the future and probably uploading them here though!

I found it really fun to get AFK upgrade and then trying to avoid all the balls.
Good start, but stage 2 gets tedious toward the end, because heart income doesn't scale very well. I tapped out at 1e9. I don't think Bullets are supposed to reduce hearts, but they do. It may be worth considering automating blood upgrades at some point.
developer response: The bullets reducing hearts was added to make VH more impactful, I just forgot to reflect it in the notorious confirmation text window.
Also 1e9 is when you can get immunity to the bullets reduction effect, now you can AFK to get enough hearts!
I may consider reducing it though if enough people want it.
the magic circle is (mostly) translatable! it's really just a substitution cipher from Latin letters to Greek ones, and I started from the visual "cognates" that look like their translation
Four center letters: F I R E, starting from noon
Inner ring: fire water air earth, starting from noon
Outer ring: i love you eve i love you lillith brilliant beautiful no one compares forever yours my goddesses tbp, starting from around 9:45
why I put the (mostly): the last 3 letters, as I don't know if they stand for something or if it was a creator tpyo

The collectables are so small it took me a while to realize they even existed.
