A brand new Astro Prospector Prologue has been released! We're participating on Steam Next Fest from 9th-16th June.

The new demo includes more resources, different enemies, new upgrades and weapons and cool new challenges! Also, lots of visual and quality of lifes improvements

Bullet hells usually give you some kind of even tiny opening, this game just spams a wall of bullets at times that is impossible to dodge and gets really overwhelming, especially on stages 4 and 5. I have maxed out all upgrades and can't beat the game because the lag is so bad and the mouse movement is just too slow and unresponsive with this many bullets I like the concept, not a fan of the execution at the later ends of the prologue. The background could also use more scenes, it gets a little boring at times.

amazing! it was very very well paced as I got all of the upgrades just before I killed the last boss, it was quite fun and liked everything you added. Will play when full comes out ;)

it's pretty fun however playing it feels like a mess as on later stages (4&5, maybe 3) the screen is filled with your bombs, your turrets and their range and bullets, the enemies, the enemies bullets, the asteroids, and the many asteroid chunks. it's a total mess and really took away from the game when i was taking hits because i couldn't discern quickly enough if i was running through asteroid chunks to collect or full asteroids that deal contact damage, especially because said asteroids passively spawn as you play the current stage and they also come in big clusters at periods. even if you could just disable the chunks that would be fine because it would be so much less clutter on the screen.

This game was a lot of fun! Moving with the cursor was weird to get used to, but was fun once I did. It took me 1:01:34 to get every upgrade and beat the prologue! Great Game!

i played for about a half hour earlier, now coming back to it, i press play and its just a blue screen :/

developer response: Hi! Thanks for the comment! We are trying to fix the bluescreen problem, sorry. We will update asap. You can fix it by removing the data on settings for now :)

i really love the game and its idea, its only problem was that the game sadly dosent run in low end devices or not so powerful computers

You can fix the bluescreen for now by removing the data on settings menu :)
