Stacking and Safety Update! 15 November 15, 2025
The game now takes periodic backups every 20 minutes. Backups can be accessed in the settings menu.
I wanted to get this update out quickly, in case someone's save file ever corrupts, so you wont lose more than 20 minutes of progress.

- Added prestige for keeping equipment on reset

- You can now stack items at the shop
- Auto battle now counts down when finishing combat, instead of entering it

- Game now takes backups every 20 minutes, saving up to 7 extra backups at a time

- Fixed prestige production upgrades not affecting resources
- Fixed bug where player couldn't miss
- Fixed bug where enemies benefited from the minimum damage prestige upgrade too

Rn it seems like the fusion bonuses don't count to me. Multiple lower counts.
After the newest update, I prestiged and had to reload the game before equipment took effect (I do not have the prestige upgrade to keep equipment yet). Attack Bonus and Defense Bonus showed +0 until I reloaded the game even if I had smth equipped and no matter what I had equipped.

Prestige for meat seems to show up in the meat/s and in the summary, but I do not really get the amount showed (even if like 100/s it is more like 1/s so I am assuming it is prestige not being taken into account).
There was a crash and my save file got reset. - stars.... Don't play
developer response: There should be a load backup button in the settings-menu. I've also just added safeguards to avoid this in the future. Did it happen in the update I just pushed right now, or the previous one?

Fun game. There's a lot more content than you'd expect and it sorta plays out like a more forgiving Kitten's game except you actually play around with the mechanics you get. There's plenty of charm and the game's pretty decently paced until the end where it gets a little more grindy. Each feature is pretty fun in its own way though I'd personally put the merge a little sooner. It comes at a great time, though I was already deleting buildings to get to there. The mid game is also sorta time-gated on combat and you're heavily punished for dying. I would move that death timer to 30s. It gets a lot better when you can start killing Goats around level 7/8.
One sorta major issue. I'm unable to export my save. At least I'm not able to copy it. Furthermore, does the save really need to be that big? Are you sure there aren't better ways to abstract all that info?
This isn't a big issue now, but it may be a larger issue later. At the end of the game, the game is starting to lag a little, especially if you're running TD. Maybe you might want to consider simulating the other tabs while they're not focused rather than processing them simultaneously and then removing them or stopping their process temporarily.
It's also taking up a lot of memory. When I finished the game, it was taking up 5.6Gb. I refreshed the page and it went to ~400mb and it's slowly increasing. The memory does increase when you load all the tabs, but I'd be more suspicious of a memory leak somewhere.
The tower defense is a fun idea though you don't really ever need the magic. Perhaps if there was another resource tied to tower defense? The map building is also a little finicky when you have to move things around. I'd consider making a custom builder for it where you can remove as many as you'd like and place as many as you'd like back down.
Finally the shield is missing a texture. Not a huge issue, some people might just forget it if it's invisible.
If you flesh it out more, update some of the sprites, and push past some of the default Godot themes, I bet you could see some good traction with this on steam.

The exporting/importing should be fixed. The memory leak should be plugged too now. Resources should now simulate while the tab is out of focus. Fixed the missing icon. Magic has more of a use now with the new content.

Cute furry fox game with hints of eldritch horror
Having fun with the game. But found a bug, the Mega lab upgrades don't seem to be having any effect.
*** BUG ALERT *** excellent, build an aterum, then game crashed, and now it won't load.
