Welcome to Abstractors by MangoWeb!
A simple little game about amassing a collection of cards online.
Chat with, trade with, or battle with other players in this fully online game! Rise to the top of the leaderboards and take your position as the luckiest pack opener this side of the internet!
Please note, a lot of this game's aspects are based on luck of the draw, but you have plenty of opportunities to keep trying your luck.
This game is meant as an experiment to see what I can make after the previous success of Cat Clicker both here and off-site.
A few disclosures:
a) this game is in open alpha! a lot of art is missing and a lot of features are yet to come. if you have any suggestions, feel free to discuss them with me!
b) an account is REQUIRED to play, whether it is a traditional account or through a galaxy account. additionally, you will need to enable third party cookies to play! ive tried my best to reduce the amount needed but its still not perfect.
c) the chat is PUBLIC! don't discuss anything here that should be kept to dms!
d) the game works best in full screen! however, opening the site to another tab means that your galaxy account WILL NOT work as verification, so use the built-in 'expand' feature.

Added the Collection Certificate
- Found in the now renamed Collection tab (Catalogue -> Collection)
- Complete quests every day to gain xp
- 99 levels with various rewards
- Quest progress saves between days
- Five difficulties of quests, using different game mechanics for progress
Added a new rarity, Limited
- Given out through various limited time events
- Can only be obtained once per account
- Cannot be abstracted or traded
Added the Projection mechanic
- Project a Limited rarity card to drastically increase its base value
- Uses a new currency
Added two new currencies: Wildcards, Perfect Projectors - Wildcards allow you to replace copies when Abstracting a card
- Perfect Projectors allow you to Project a Limited card, increasing its base value exponentially
Added more stock to the store
- Wildcards for Gilded Credits (Gold to Paper)
- Increased stock on existing buyables
Added some more reliable rate-limiting
- Hopefully will fix overcapped abstractions
Some work towards a Discord bot

developer response: Album is designed as a place to store cards that you like, where they are safe from the world. They still count towards your inventory value but not towards inventory size, by design.
developer response: Please enable third party cookies to play via galaxy! It is unfortunately the only way to access the game.

developer response: thanks! yeah ive been regularly working on this game trying to get it to a decent state. also much thanks for the pointer for everyone to use galaxy auth, i would also like to add that you need third party cookies enabled for it to work with galaxy!
