a few notes - The general unlocks don't work at all unless I am misunderstanding how they work. I have played 4+ archers in a wave for the imperial archer, but do not have the "play 3 scouts" quest unlocked. I have played unupgraded Excalibur, but do not have the 2+ spell cost quest. Recruiter also doesn't upgrade the name of the card to recruiter+. You might want a bug report feature if you're thinking of early-access on steam. This demo is fun, and I hope it gets fleshed out into a full game!

Hey, I'm running into a problem. I try to start a game, clear the first path, and then when I choose the first card, the game freezes.

Would love to see a tracker for amount of enemies killed by each unit. I suspect my Fearsome Knight with Devour Rune and .09 attack speed could kill God if I let him.

Not bad, i didn’t see many ways to get more mana then to use the dark thing though. And the only way to make that work well was to use the beads. So maybe that would help, some better ways to thin the deck and get more mana

honestly really fun! dont exactly see how this is idle/incremental related, but i really like the mechanic of units having lifespan and the very clear build paths that are provided, and being able to build your own map weighing how valuable different effects are adds a lot of depth to the gameplay loop. the things i would suggest right now are just more cards that have class synergies (eg. the card that gives you mana if you played a knight beforehand), amping up the visuals (i assume the grey background is temporary?), and making the furnace a little more common for balancing purposes, as your deck gets cluttered REALLY fast, since past wave 5/6 you start gaining upwards of 2 cards every single turn. will be looking forward to the full game :)

Honestly, such a cool game! Strategizing and building the deck is a bit annoying, cause I'm relying on cursed artifacts and few cards that grant more mana, but I am sure that there is some other strategy I haven't discovered yet. I just feel like I'm having fun while trying to discover if there is a way to break the game somehow.

Is there supposed to be a reliable way to get more mana? I only had 2 each round the entire game. Not very fun.

I don't know what to do at the merchant. It had eight options, all of which were more than I could afford. I couldn't find any way to close/exit the merchant.
