developer response: Hey! On discord #guides there is a guide on how to try to get your save back, it just doesnt work if your browser had its cookies/localStorage erased (browsers tend to do that from time to time)
Couple tips that I wish I knew ahead of time (for the current 6/14/2026 build):
1. Once you unlock the auto-golden feathers, the need to rebirb for popcorn is basically gone.
2. The "seed upgrades don't use seeds" upgrade is massive and should be prioritized ASAP (after auto-generate seeds).
2.1 After the "don't use seeds" upgrade, you can permanently leave the auto" enabled for purchasing seed upgrades.
2.2 Rebirbing in the bird nest (twigs/wood), you need to re-enable your Auto purchaser since that's a feature unlocked through birb nest progression.
2.3 Twigs and wood go by the wayside after getting the nest fully upgraded
3. Your seagull(s) will end up doing most of the fishing for you, but don't forget about fishing! The buffs are invaluable for progression - especially end game expeditions.
3.1 If you want moneta (fishing currency), don't look to the "safe sell" first. Study all, then go to the aquarium (location, not menu) and add all your shiny fish first.
3.2 I'd recommend keeping a couple hundred of each kind of fish and skipping "safe sell" anyway - fish contracts are a breeze if you have a good bunch saved up.
4. It took me ages to find the Treasure Room in the mine! I got to mine collapse 6 without it lol. It's not in the interactive mining area - it's just outside of that. The arrows are on the left-hand side just before you enter the Mine.
5. If you need to grind auras with the parrot radius mine upgrade, fish buffs go HARD. Shiny parrot move speed + radius have my parrot ZOOMING around stage 6, one-shotting and stacking chests. The SP gain is lower than the stage 7 entrance enemies, but the added radius lets me fish on 6 at the same time.
@ParrotRoyale - The monster is on floor nine. In the small pixely text in Birb, 9 and 3 look the same
